The annual conference of SID-Israel in memory of the late Dr. Yehuda Paz
The conference focused on the consequences of the COVI-19 pandemic on developing countries and on Israel's ability to contribute to the global effort.
The conference was moderated by Tal Schneider, Globes' political reporter. It opened with the global perspective of the World Bank provided by its VP; proceeded to the perspective of Latin America; then to a panel of foreign ministers from Togo and Nepal; and then addressed the challenges and conclusions from the field, concluding with the Israeli point of view: How Israel views itself in the global effort.
Senior guests from around the world participated in the conference, including Vice President of the World Bank, Mr. Farid Belhaj; senior officials from international organizations, -such as the Organization of Ibero-American States, the United Nations Food Organization, government ministries, and large corporations active in these markets.
